Does it matter how the bearing is mounted?
Resin cage to the spool side or facing away?
Thanks

Identifying zpi, boca, hh bearings.
Hi guys
I have a bunch of bc reels ( maybe 20 / 25 ) that have a set of one.of these bearings in them.
I want to replace the boca's and HH with zpi's.
How do I identify the zpi's from the boca's and HH bearings.
Thanks

I have owned my 7005 just a little while and might agree with Rise.
It does have some flex in the upper part of the rod.
When in doubt call Gary at tackle trap

I just bought the same rod, you are giong to like it.
Right now I am pairing it with a ito 103.
Someday I want to get an ip68 dragon reel for it.

Re: losing rods off the deck of the boat...
I was fishing Oneida lake in the fall and was heading east along the north side of the lake from rt 81. We get to the end of the islands and hit a wave that sent my champ 203 air borne and the next wave we speared , next thing you know about 2ft of water came over the whole boat. When we got our wit...
