Re: Steez 103 Line Guide ?
I have removed a couple of the guide 'surrounds' in the past and had them painted. I used a small amount of epoxy to remount without any problems. How do you remove them if they're not defective? Are they just a pressure fit or are they glued? The ones I have have just a little glue. There is a sma...

I have removed a couple of the guide 'surrounds' in the past and had them painted. I used a small amount of epoxy to remount without any problems. I have done the same as "africanbass" and used just a drop of super glue. You don't have to be too generous with the glue, a little dab will do you. Ofc...

Re: Zillion PE Special 7.9 and MB Mat Bucker
I agree with Bronzefly about the 7.9 PE special being too loud. I bought the Matt Bucker from the tackle trap last year and I have to say it is one beautiful rod. I cannot find a single flaw in the epoxy, thread wrap, etc. I have a steez with anodized purple screws along with some other parts and I...

Pixy Type R spool bearing
Does anyone know the manufacturer of the the pixy type r spool bearing? I have to say it is the best spinning bearing I have ever seen, even better than boca orange seals. I am looking to purchase bearings for my steez from that manufacturer

Re: Monoblock 100XR aluminum handle knobs
Not saying you did, that is why I did not mention your name or our transaction, etc. I just thought it was as the star screw drivers I have from a jewel kit did not work. Neither did the Allen wrenches I have at hand (granted they are not metric) My apologies if it came off this way. BTW, I am able ...

Re: Monoblock 100XR aluminum handle knobs
They screws aren't stripped but you will have to use a hex wrench or a star. The lock tit on them makes them a pain to get on and off. I wouldn't do you that way and give you messed up screws. I hope that helps

can a split grip be changed to full grip
Can a cork split grip be changed to a full cork grip? I have come to favor the full grip and want to buy a dobyns champion 682C but dont care for the split grip. I have some extra cork rings and was thinking about sanding them to match the diameter of the existing cork. Has anyone ever tried this or...

Awesome collection! How do you like the Ryoga compared to the conquest? I have been trying to decide between the two.

Daiwa Zillion Casting Rod TDZL631MFB?
Has anyone fished this rod and how do you like it for finesse techniques. By finesse I mean using it for throwing about 3/16 oz jigs with plastics. I would also like to know if you have used a dropshot on it as well. I understand these rods are over powered but would like to get an opinion before I ...
