TD Ito paint.

Has anyone found a good touch up for the "gold-truese" color of the TD Ito 103? Mines... loved and deserves a bit of sprucing up.
Thanks all

Going out on a limb. Levante sales for Black Friday are coming and the new model will be announced once stock is mostly depleted.

Re: Best Football Jig Rod Under $120

If I may offer an alternative, the Uribe Riverside M2 is perfect for that application. I was dragging 1/2 keitech footballs with 3" swimbaits Monday for smallies in 20-40ft and the sensitivity was stunning for a $110$ rod. Action and taper felt like a St Croix Avid 70MHF. Read the TT Review on it.

Re: Daiwa Tatula 7'2"MHRB or 7'2"HFB

I have both as well, the MHR is plenty powerful for what you want to throw. The 72HF is like a slightly crisper MHF St Croix Avid.

Tatula and Tatula HD Spools.

Does the standard Tatula spool fit in the HD model?

Tatula, line keeps popping out of guide...

It's driving me crazy... (short trip). I've got a Tatula HL spooled with 20lb Abrazx on my Carolina rig rod. Cast out and engage... retrieve a bit all good, then notice that the line pops out of the bottom of the T and goes to the palm side of the T. It's nearly every cast and it's causing some back...

Re: Titanium Reels/Components

A frame would have to be cast and in general cast Ti isn't cheap and would flex a fair amount. With the current amount of Ti being used in the worlds militaries, it's pretty expensive.

Re: Spy baits who's using them, and what brands?

The original 80 size Duo is kind of the gold standard (been my best too). I use a 7'7" ML Omen Green with a 2500 Shimano, 10lb braid with a 6lb Fluoro leader. On places like the St. Lawrence (1000 Islands) you can throw it anywhere in 3-30 feet and whack them. The basics of the technique have been c...

Re: Phenix Recon 764 vs 766 BIG difference in power?

A 3/8oz swimjig with a trailer will weigh close to an ounce. 766 will throw that.
