Re: Megabass's CEO-X Factor : Yuki Ito

Great interview and a nice glimpse into Yuki's world.

Megabass has always been a fascination of mine and much respect goes to Mr. Ito and the excuisite works of art he meticulously crafts.

Re: Septon power knobs available for purchase?

one should note on the core 100 reels that you could only have one bearing per knob due to to the fixed bushing. actually only the core 50 has bearings in the handle, the 100 and 100mgfv don't have any. If were picking nits. I did not say they had any, I indicated that you could only have one BB per...

Re: G.Loomis NRX rods go “Green”

I'm really surprised tackletour didn't ask them about it as well, seeing as how you can't even mention the NRX in a thread without the problem coming up. What's up with that? Probably becuase it was already talked about at length in the original review. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewgloomisnrxdsr...

I'm sure somebody already spotted this but you've got Sunline Natural instead of Berkley Nanofil for the items description.

Oh almost forgot Ms. Casey as always heightened the Christmas spirit. :big grin:

Re: What the Finesse: A Different Character, the NRX Drop Sh

If you want to fish the best you have to pay the price.

Nice review and setup Z, is that a 2004 vintage Cert?

My NRX852S is paired with a Cert 2000 and its one lean mean fishing machine, Bass dont stand a chance.

Every fight is an extreme thrill. The blank material just feels ALIVE.

Re: NRX rodsock

I find it flimsy as well but I put a Stik Jacket over the NRX sock, the nylon makes my spin rod slide out better.

Re: Daiwa's Zillion Type-R, Rev up to High Speed

no mention of the speedball bearings, are they that much better than a stock zillion? Yes, they are better based on my experience so far. I have flushed and re-lubricated the stock bearings in my Zillion Type-R and the performance is definitely superior to my former Zillion Coastal with ABEC #7s. P...
