aqua71, I’ve had customers over the years complain about the same issue while fishing in below freezing temps. If everything else is functioning properly, the issue you’re experiencing is likely due to contaminated drag washers. The quick and easy solution is to replace them with c-tex washers and c...

Not sure what rod you're using but consider braid…it floats, there is no stretch and you will only have to reel set the fish…no hook set needed even at those long distances. This would be my advice as well. Keep in mind that braid is NOT mono.... you have to back off your drag to compensate for the...

Timing (on the hook set) is everything when it comes to frogs, but...
