Re: Aaron's New Edge with Enigma Fishing
do the rods still say "cast. catch. repeat." on them? the review didn't say anything about that nor was it shown in the pics. i'm not sure i understand the decision to use mono for the review...that seems like it would put the rod's perceived sensitivity behind the eight ball from the very...

Re: What the F-Power? Megabass's F3-611XXS Drop Shot Rod
i noticed the descrepancy in the review between the specified weight of 4.1 ounces and your measured weight of 5.3 ounces. i just got mine and put it on my scale and it is exactly 4.1 ounces. is that a typo in your review?

Re: Phenix Adds to their Heavy Powered Arsenal : The M1 MX72
excellent review and writeup. however, can someone...anyone...explain the rationale for the location of the hook keeper? if there was just one good reason, i'd sure like to hear it. i love my MX72H but i hate, hate, hate the placement of the hook keeper.
btw, mine weighs 4.1 ounces.

Re: Daiwa's New Workhorse Has Thoroughbred Tendencies : Tatu
the tatula spool looks wider than all of those others mentioned. as stated in the review, line comes off the top of the spool easier...i think that's why the pitching performance of the shimano E-series was so good.

Re: Tatula TT Product Review
x3 to what mark said. one of the things i like most about the TT reviews is they fish gear for a long time before reviewing it, often a full season or more. i've had plenty of experiences where i loved or hated something at first and, after a couple/three trips, did a complete 180 on how i felt abou...

Re: Creature Fever : It Really Is "Da-Bomb"!
i'm with tosakilla in that i was somewhat perplexed by the review as well, particularly about the durability. the D-bomb has been extremely durable for me...i've only used them on two trips so far. on my first outing, i landed 8-9 fish with my first one and it still looked good except i then lost it...

Re: The Speed Spool Returns – Lew’s Tournament Pro Baitcaste
tokugawa, the handles are 85mm in length (i did not measure them myself, that is what lew's told me). carlos, i'm not sure i understand what you're saying. as far as i can tell, every part that is plastic on the lew's is plastic on the STX and SX as well except for the sideplates . but, hey, if you ...
