Re: Ultimate bottom bouncing rod
G-Loomis has some great walleye rods in glx spinning but since you're looking for baitcasting I would look at the NRX+ line. I would recommend the NRX+852CJWR. Depending on what weights you're using you may want the 3 power.

Re: Power BFS Rod: Sierra or Rebellion?
I currently have both the Casion 6'10'' bfs rod and the Sierra 7' bfs rod. Like said the Cashion is definitely more powerful, I like the Sierra for panfish and prefer the Cashion for bass fishing. Another rod I have is the Old18 Buoyancy 7' light powered xf casting rod. That rod is rated 4 - 10 poun...

I agree with the 873, the NRX+ 873crr is what you are looking for.

Re: Rod Recommendations
One rod I have that suits your needs is the St Croix Legend Elite 6"8'' mh. Rod is versatile and loads well into the blank. I've used the rod for many applications and currently has a 1/2 oz spinnerbait tied on.

What are the other rods you have on deck? To me the 853 is the ideal fluke rod, but if you give up the 4 power rod do you have any other heavy power rods? Need to know what else you have.

what application
Have one rod which seems like it never gets used. I have most applications I fish covered but rarely does my G-Loomis glx mbr783c (older version solid cork handle) get used. I'm thinking of making it my jerk bait rod. anyone use this rod for jerk bait fishing? What other uses are you using this rod ...

nrx873ccr, nrx853 and nrx+852 would be my favorites. I also have the nrx854, what do most of you use this rod for? thanks for your input

G-Loomis NRX+ 802c
Looking at picking up this rod. Applications would be small 2.8, 3'' swimbaits, shakeyhead small worms, dropshot and finesse applications in lieu of spinning. I can't find much info or reviews on this rod. Any information anyone has on this rod would be appreciated. Thanks Ron
Re: what reel
Is anyone using a Steez reel for crankbaits? Which one and why?
what reel
Throwing 3/8 to 1/2 oz crankbaits is the Steez sv tw or the Steez A the better reel for this application. Which braking system is the preferred ?

Megabass whipsnake vs St Croix elite 6'10'' ml
I currently own the St Croix Elite ml 6'10'' rod. I mainly use it for ned rig, and other finesse applications. I'm interested in the Orachixx Whipsnake and wonder what the differences are. Great reviews on the whipsnake but does it offer more than the Elite ml? would appreciate a comparison if anyon...

Re: One Texas rig/small rig jod
I haven't fished any of the steez rods but have fished most of the g-loomis glx and nrx rods and the upper end st croix rods. I would have to say the st croix legend elite 7' med rod would be a consideration for what you are looking for.
