Re: YoZuri SuperBraid 8

I've been using 10 lb on a stradic 3000 for inshore saltwater , I really like it. Can't go wrong for the price.

Re: 2020 Twin Power - anyone with feedback?

I know it's made in Japan. They have certainly not promoted it like the other reels. They did the same thing with the spheros sw inshore , didn't want to steal any thunder from the stradic FL, and now they are doing it with the Vanford. If you get one please report back , I'd love to know how it work...

Re: Curado 300K

If it borrows the same thumbar from the Tranx 300/400 , I'll buy... If it sports the 200 K thumbar , they can keep it.

What is it with this year? Is covid to blame? Daiwa: New 2020 Tatula CT!!! Anglers: that's the one from 2016 with different colors and knobs. Also, you already replaced this with the 100 so shouldn't these be discontinued? Daiwa: no!!! Daiwa: Tatulion Anglers: lol wut is this a joke? Shimano: 2020 ...

I'm happy to see that style thumbar instead of what the slx and 200 k have.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. I would not pay big money for a Steez made in Thailand.

The "new" Tatula CT is not based on the 100 platoform. It is the old Tatula from 2016. Tatulas don't go away. They just keep making more and renaming the old ones and releasing them as new (Tatula 150, 200 and Tatula CT)

Thanks for pointing that out , I see it now ,the handle threw me off.

Re: New Daiwa reel?

When I saw the announcement videos of the new tackle start with the walking spider logo, I knew it was going to be TatulaFest 2020. They just can’t seem to shake the Tatula from the lineup. I know it’s popular with the masses but they need to cater to the enthusiasts too 8-) It's not even a good Ta...

Re: Shimano Stradic FL (Smootheness)?

I'm actually surprised that TT hasn't made a jig to measure jouls of energy used to rotate a spin or baitcaster reel. And a jig that holds a reel again spin or baitcaster and measures its actual rotational noise via either noise or sensor via a worm style graph tracker? How it would correlate into ...

Re: Shimano Stradic FL (Smootheness)?

I bought a 3000 FL two weeks ago. It's liquid smooth , the FK 3000 I had before wasn't that smooth right out of the box but , it never got any worse. I used it inshore for a few years , snook , reds , trout , etc. btw , I had a heck of a time finding a place that had one in stock. Finally found one....
