Man, make one mistake in all these years, and they just jump all over you, huh Cal? :lol: Another great installment in the Tackle Doctor series from A. Mart. You used to be able to find tungsten weights with inserts, but they're much more scarce now, and the ones you could find were usually sub-par,...

Not as light, but a more solid, connected feeling reel. A bit smoother, and more refined. As for how it feels when a fish is on, I cannot comment, but in hand, it does feel like a better reel.

definitely a fair review that takes into consideration the price point. Personally, this is one of the few times I would have to say "I would rather have a bass pro reel than that shimano". The flex under load of the graphite frame just rubs me the wrong way...even at $90...
