Re: Does the Phenix Feather tickle in the right places?

It is a tapered blank. Almost similar to the technology of the new M1. The blank flares wide at the grip area. This helps with balance and increases sensitivity. You can see the taper in the blank in the pics on the website. Extremely light blanks. https://phenixrods.com/product/feather-blanks/?prod...

Re: Purple Reign : Phenix's Reinvigorated M1 is a Winner

So the new M1 actually still uses the same Nanolite resins. The carbon fiber is actually a new upgraded scrim. Things like Carbon Fiber and resins seem to advance as much as cell phones and other gadgets. There’s always something new and improved, and the raw materials used on the new M1 fit that mo...

Re: 1.0-1.5 squarebill rod suggestions

If your looking to fish open water with the square bills or around wood and rock, take a look at the Phenix X10. If your cranking mostly around grass and want a Rod with some back bone to rip free of the grass then look at the X11. Both are 7'

Re: Phenix Recon2 QC issues

We actually had a distributor in South Africa for the last 3 years. Unfortunately he went outta business just a few months back. The name was Trailblaizer Fishing Products. Most of what he distributed was in our saltwater series of rods. As well as a series we OEMd for them.

Re: Phenix Recon2 QC issues

Yeah that's not good at all! Shoot me your address and info in a PM and I'll get ya taken care of. As for the M1 soft touch seat, sometimes we trust our component suppliers a little to much. We were assured the soft touch was permanent and would not come off. Trust me, I was addimant about it since ...

Re: Phenix Rods K2s

The first guide is set the recommended way by Fuji for the KR Concept. We had it the traditional way on the K2 prototypes at iCast and Fuji came by and corrected it. I got to admit, the traditional way looked funky because the two span feet of the frame are narrow and long.

Re: Phenix Rods K2s

Ok just got a set of them in. The longest Rod the 7'6" heavy balanced without a reel at 5" in front of the reel seat. Put a Shimano Core on it and it balanced right at the trigger! Haven't weighed the Rod yet, or measured the handle length. But they feel AMAZING IN HAND.

Phenix Rods K2s

Well the heavily anticipated K2s are finally in and shipping to dealers. There are 12 models total. 4 casting 2 spinning in One piece. And 4 casting 2 spinning in two piece. The 6 actions to start with are the most popular actions from the K2s, but all will be added in the future. They are AMAZINGLY...

Re: Phenix at ICast

That is 100% correct. We make use of the new Fuji Torzite guide system on the K2s. When the guides were first ordered Fuji had Back Ordered them on us for 6 months. Then, When we finally received the guides, they sent the wrong size stripper guide. So since they made the mistake you would think they...

Re: light weight muskie/pike swimbait rod

Take a look at the Phenix M1 Inshore rods. Very popular for swimbaits and Musky. Extremely light weight and balance great with light reels. http://www.phenixrods.com/index.php?mai ... page&id=78
