Major Craft Nano Ace Spinning Rods
I was interested in the 7ft medium heavy for floating worms and tubes, does any members have experience with these rods. I'm wanting something with a soft tip with some backbone. The price on these is really good.

Replace Chronach 50mg with Diawa SV105
I have been thinking about replacing my chronarch 50mg reels and I'm looking for a new reel that will throw the smaller baits ( mainly balsa squarebills and Rogue jerkbaits ) and be under 300.00 . The Daiwa sv 105 seems right but TW only lists a high gear ratio would need something in the 6 to 3 ran...

Braid size with a leader
I am going to braid for my mainline with a fluoro leader and had used 20lb with 6lb or 8lb leader in the past. I was wondering if 10lb braid with the same size leader as before would work or could there be slippage issues, this is for a spinning rod.

Re: Fenwick Smallmouth Spinning
Thanks for all the info and your time, it sounds like the medium is what I need to get for him if it covers that many baits. I seen them online on sale and you helped a lot.

I used to own years ago a Allstar Tom Mann jr 7ft Carolina rig spinning rod, if you could find one it would be a good test without a lot of money it was very stout.

Re: Shakey Head Spinning Rod Need Help
I know it may sound funny but there is hardly ever a tap you just lift/drop/lift/drop than when you go to lift there is a fish and I like for the rod to load some as you keep lifting into the fish and start reeling, you don't drop the rod back down and jerk, this is a late winter pattern here and yo...

I u...

I was looking at a Phenix x13 and Powell TW deep rod, does anyone have experience with these 2 rods. I am wanting something with a moderate flex loads up good on cast. I can't try either of these rods and I am worried they would be to stiff. I usually use the LIttle John DD and a DD22, for years I u...
