I was one of the people who posted your vid, and oh boy did i pay the price. Got talked down and deleted for posting nonsense content that "only contains someone's opinion and nothing more" I didn’t get talked down but my post also was deleted when I linked the video. Re: RCS 1016 (T3) vs. Zillion SV G1 spool
First of all, you are talking two differently peforming spool. SV Spools give you more control and braking power which is very similar to the TDX 100/103 HSDF. But the TDX has a fixed inductor vs the SV's inductor moves. RCS 1016 Spool is a very fast spool. And very little braking power. You will ne...

Re: TUTORIAL - Non-SV Spool convert to SV Spool
I was able to finally test the Tatula CT stock spool with the SV Mod and lets just say it isn't exactly as great the actual Tatula CT SV Spool. My speculations were correct. Reason is, the Tatula CT stock spool is a heavier spool versus its bigger brother the Tatula CT SV. Thus the Air Brakes was no...

Re: TUTORIAL - Non-SV Spool convert to SV Spool
That's a cool mod, thanks for sharing it. The kit I am looking at has two white ramps and inductor, is there an extra ramp? Does there appear to be enough material to enlarge the holes to fit the older spools? Any chance you could snap a pic of an old style inductor beside the Ray's? Included in th...

Re: TUTORIAL - Non-SV Spool convert to SV Spool
Oh, by the way, the hardest part about this MOD is putting that darn C-Clip on!! I have spent more time on this C-Clip and looking for it. I would advise to use a large see through or very clear plastic bag and assemble the spool inside this bag.

Re: Broken sv spool
So you do have to drill 2 holes for the tabs on the inductor base, correct? No. I sanded down one of the Ray's bottom footed white part. Then super glued it to the base of the spool. There is a reason why you have to sand it down. Even if there is already teo holes for the bottom footed part to fit...

Re: Broken sv spool
In the pictures above, I added a stock Tatula CT spool to show the original gold inductor. All the original inductor parts are in the marked corresponding Ray's original zip pack bag thingy. Now the only thing is to get a feel for these converted spool in real time fishing casting scenarios. Alas, i...
