Re: Ark Rods
Have the invoker old model in 7’6 H. No complaints for punching or pitching. Decent sensitivity and pretty light in hand. The 7’3MMH feels better and floats in the hand. Haven’t tried the others but liked the way the spinning models felt in hand. Feels like a Rapala concept ti but lesser guides.

Re: Help with ?'s on 2019 Stradic, Asian version
Just make sure you buy the reel that doesn't say any HG or XG on it.
In your case, I believe you are just looking for the Stradic 2500.

Re: Could this be the new St croix rod? > Legend X casting
This looks to be the new version of the Legend Xtreme?
Like the guides, aesthetics are pretty subtle (Although the Legend Xtreme was always touted to be daring in design?) - but it looks like it's a great rod.
Not sure which I would prefer, the Elite or the Legend X now.

Re: Anyone try the 13 Fishing Creed GT spinning reel?
Held it at iCast but can't say for durability or power under load. Looks / Feels great for its price tag and I would try one for my next spinning reel. I just feel like you need to remember that this is under $100, and don't expect $200 in performance. Not available at retailers in Canada yet. Hopef...

Re: Major craft finally here?
They are available in Canada and they came to iCast this past year. Majorcraft makes some great rods for their price range but are mostly Japanese lengths, which means there aren't many models over 7'. If you look at the design of the rods (Other than the nanoace), they have lots of custom details i...

Re: 13 Fishing Envy Question
As far as I'm aware, they are upgrading the envy if they do come out with one.
http://www.13fishing.com/muse-black/ is very close in terms of performance to the current envy at a lower price point.

Re: Shimano 16 Stile or 15 Aldebaran?
I can say the more I use my stile, the more I like it. It seems there is a break in period for this reel.
Pick one and go, I don't think you can go wrong with either. My vote goes to the stile.

These float very well but it will be hard to source. Claims to be biodegradable and as of now, I've had small smallies, bluegill and crappie eat these up. Much more durable than gulp, and seems to be getting hits just as well. I need more time to confirm its effectiveness.

Re: St Croix Legend glass crankbait rods
Action wise, this should be a great crankbait rod. Bends down smoothly quite a ways and I'm sure with the st croix name you can't go wrong. Aesthetically, we can argue about full and split grips til iCast 2017 but considering a tip down application for crankbaits, it's not necessarily a bad thing to...

Double Hook Sizing
Hey All, Just wondering if anyone knows how the sizes for the double hooks from Japan works. For the most part, I'm trying to get some replacement hooks for their blade baits (OSP Override (3/8 and 1/4 sizes), Megabass Blading-X (1/2 size) ). If anyone could let me know some sizes that would be fant...

Re: Shimano 16 Stile
Well, I took the leap and am pretty pleased with it. Spooled up with 20# SX1 (~80yds) and here's a few observations. This is definitely a cross between an 12 Aldebaran BFS XG and a 15 Aldebaran. Cast control is on the sideplate side like the 12Ald. Body is the shape of a 15Ald in I believe a slightl...

Re: Alphas SV105 reel foot finish
Noticed the bottom part of the top foot is scratched on mine as well. Had it on a LTB 7'2MM for cranking for the past season. I was thinking this is because the reel seat has a little bit of metal on the LTB. Either way, this is just cosmetic and on the back side - not going to let a scratch that yo...

Re: No.8 Blackout sensitivity
Before I broke my 6''9MXF, I was throwing anything between 1/8 and grub for walleye to 1/2 texas rigs no problem at all. I wouldn't go lower, and I'm sure a little more than 1/2 will probably work too. I remember throwing pointers and staysees, but never tried with lighter jerks. A little stiff for ...
