If you're looking for super fast, the new Revo Rocket has gone back to aluminum sideplates instead of the carbon of the Gen 3s. I'm hoping for more of a G2 Premier(weight & everything else lines up about right outside of stupid fast gear ratio) feel from it instead of the hollower feel of the G3s.

Revo Rocket will be my next purchase, although it could be a while before I actually do get it. I have 2 G3 STX-SHS I got in April I've hardly used this year, so I'm in no hurry to get one.

I'd think about any Abu Revo handle should fit, since they use the same nut & lock washer on all that I have. The only ones that'd be have an issue would be if you try putting a bent handle on a reel with a straight star.

Fenwick ESMC69M-XF is a very solid feeling rod in the price range you're looking & can usually be found well under their MSRP. Not a whole lot of options in that price range, but I've been pretty impressed with my Fenwick outside of a reel seat issue, which Fenwick took care of with no hassle.

Sweet, aluminum alloy sideplates instead of carbon. I don't have any issues with the sideplate on the G3s, but I do like the aluminum sideplates on the G2s better, so that's a plus for me. If they start popping up on the auction site for close to $200, I'll definitely be getting one.
