Re: Fuji SKTS and ACS seats.
I've seen that my fishing friends which are used to put 3 fingers infront of the trigger love the ACS, and the ones that put 2 hate it
Anyone knows what's the difference in weight between ACS and ECS?

Re: Custom rod question
stcroix answers: Since this is a discussion about custom rods, I will acknowledge there are many builders who have, either through experience or a custom fixture designed to compare a rod/blanks power and/or characteristics, no need for those ratings. While I applaud the knowledge & skill of these ...

About Rod Decals
Hello friends. I have a question about how to put properly the rod decals. I have 2 different types of decals: "peel & stick" and waterslide. If the blank has matte finish what I must use for cover the decals? And if the blank is painted? For the waterslide type, do you add something to the water in...

Re: Whats your favorite All Purpose rod
If I had to grab just one of my rods to use all weekend, it would probably be my Legend Elite 7' MF. I can pretty much do anything with that rod. Agree. That blank is awsome. Although I`d go for the Xtreme version. What's the max weight that you feel that can cast with this rod? Don't you need a li...

Re: New St Croix SCV/Nsi blanks?
As for power and action, the MHF is very comparable to a loomis 844. The MF is close to a 843. Thank you, that's exactly what I need to know. For me the MHF and 844 are a little more rigid than I prefer for an all purpose. I know they are excellent for soft baits but when fishing with treble hooks ...

Re: New St Croix SCV/Nsi blanks?
It's the best all around in the 5c line? Could you compare the action/power to a Phenix Ultra MBX MH or Gloomis IMX mh blank, please?jimmyb wrote: The new 5c72MHM is pretty sweet though!
Re: $300
And comparing the Chronarch to the Curado 101D, of course if talking only about ligth weight casting (not construction quality), which one is better?
I ask that because I haven't used the zillion or premier... and need to compare with something I know how works

New St Croix SCV/Nsi blanks?
Hello, could you tell me if this new blanks have different actions or power comparing to the old SCV ones? Are they still underrated (M "Croix"= MH "normal")??
Re: $300

Re: Microguides and heavy stuff?
Wow I'm glad to hear this good opinion. I had not the chance to hold this blank or a rod made with it in my hands before buying because here in Europe it's not possible to find them in our local shops. This afternoon I'll try to make finally the casting test. I've dones tatic tests with 3 different ...
