sorry to be vague, but I just wanted to get a general idea. I do not own a reel that cost over $115, but sure could use a good one for an empty worm rod a have.

My question is all in the title. I can only afford one of the two. This will mainly be for worms/pitching jigs.

my buddy was trying to tell me about a reel with no line guide. He said it had some kind of bar that rocked back and forth. Any of you guys know what he is talking about?
