Steez A deep cranks?

I want to buy a Steez A for deep cranking but I am stuck between the 5.3 and 6.3 gear ratio. I’ll be using cranks as large as the Big M 7.0. I would like more IPT than the 22” the 5.3 offers but I am concerned about cranking power if I go with the 6.3. I would like to hear everyone’s general thought...

You need a pair of 3X10X4mm. https://www.hedgehog-studio.co.jp/product/566
Great, thank you

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

What are the spool bearing sizes for the CT? Want to have a set ready when my reel gets here but can’t find this info anywhere.

Re: asian portal fishing

Just received my first order from them yesterday. Couldn’t find much about them online. There were a few positive comments combined with them accepting PayPal, figured I’d take a shot. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Bought an Alphas CT significantly cheaper than I found anywhere else. Ordered...

Alphas CT bearings

Just got my Alphas CT and was going to put in a set of Hedgehog BFS bearings I felt we’re being wasted in my Alphas SV. When I took the bearings from the CT they seemed to be better quality than typical Daiwa stock bearings. So my question is would the Hedgehog BFS be an upgrade for the CT and would...

Shimano Bantam USDM vs JDM

I’m looking to get a new Bantam soon and was curious if the are any major differences between the USDM and JDM versions.

Re: Shimano Exsence Spinning

Thanks guys. Do you know if the USDM 3000 matches the C or the larger reel?

Shimano Exsence Spinning

Hey everyone. Would love to hear any and all opinions on this reel, but do have one specific question. What does the C prefix mean on the JDM models? There is a C3000MHG and a 3000MHG with nearly identical specs. Is the difference just the slight variation in gear ratio? 5.8 and 6 respectively. 3000...

Re: Steez noise diagnosis help

There was a tiny burr on the spool pin. So small I can’t even believe it was able to cause the problem, but that was indeed the case. I was able to file it and everything is working fine. Have a couple new ones on the way regardless. I don’t recall ever engaging the reel mid-cast. I bought the spool...

Re: Steez noise diagnosis help

Check the spool pin for damage. If it is scarred up it can cause the pinion to fail to engage fully. You can also try a different spool. HOLY $**T dude, you are the man. Swapped spools and could not duplicate the problem. Never would have considered this on my own. Gotta love TackleTour first post ...

Steez noise diagnosis help

I have a Steez 105 LTD sometimes when I press the clutch and re-engage the reel I get a zzzzzzz sound. I took it apart looked everything over and cleaned it. Despite everything looking ok, the noise still happens. It seems to me it is coming from the way the gears are meshing but physically they loo...

Re: Ss sv spool options

Just checked my reel. It is in fact the 103 spool with the red inductor. I don’t find it too out of control but I do use it mostly for Pop-Max’s which I would consider a very castable bait.

Re: J-Dream spool replacement

If you use Braid, the PE spool is great. Too shallow for mono/fluoro line though. I'd be happy to take that bent J-Dream spool off your hands if the price is right. Been looking for one for ages... DaveJ Not looking to get rid of it especially without a replacement. Just curious what you want to us...

Re: Ss sv spool options

In my experience it is the spool that is over braked. I swapped mine out for a Steez 103 spool and noticed a substantial increase in casting performance. Mostly regarding pure distance. Thanks. Was that the steez 103 spool r+ spool? If so, was it wild or did it still have good control while increas...

Re: J-Dream spool replacement

Another vote for the 100m spool, if you can find one... HLC is rad too, also getting hard to find, it's also lighter than the 100m. I have a stock Zillion 100ha spool I'm not using if you need something to get you by for awhile. Thanks for the response everyone. Will definitely keep an eye out for ...
