Does anyone know whether 2019 model is made in Japan or Thailand?

Anyone knows whether 2015 Exist spool can fit into 18 Exist? Seems like the drag knob diameter is bigger than the models up to year 2017 of the same reel size compared.

Received mine today, changed the knobs to BASSART GRK-SD101/Titanium and drag stars to Zaion Bring it out for casting and I must say its pretty impressive
