Re: Metanium DC or metanium 13?
Having both, it really depends.. in my opinion, if you cast more the dc is the way to go.. if you pitch/flip more the 13 is the way to go.. both are great reel but each have its limit.. if i had to choose only one the 13 does just about everything the dc can do without the whine.. but then again tha...

MB F5-75X7 extreme mission
Looking for a new rod for mostly bottom contact and pitching. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the extreme mission x7 and the nrx 894c.. currently own the 895 and looking to get something a little lighter in power for the lakes and moderate cover. I fish mostly in the CA delta and the s...

Re: Jig rod help please!
Having owned the dx744, dx745 and nrx 895 I can give you my personal opinion. In regards to warranty, as stated gloomis switch back to Xpeditor. Dobyns still has their no question ask warranty for a fee as well. The balance on the dobyns is damn near perfect. The nrx are definitely tip heavy. Youll ...

843 gets my vote. Been using it for a while now, from buzzbait to jerk to crank to jigs.. this rod does it all

NRX 873 or 894
Looking to get another nrx for more open water to light - moderate cover for 3/8 - 1/2 oz jigs, 3/8 - 1/2 oz with creature type baits, and 6 in senko type. I currently have an 895 which is great for moderate to heavy cover for the CA delta and clear lake. But for more of the surrounding lakes, there...

Re: NRX 916 or 895?
I had mines paired with a core 51mg7 and you can feel it. Bought a metanium xg for it so gonna have to wait till i spool it up first. With the core, the balance point was about 4 inches from the foregrip

Re: NRX 916 or 895?
I find this rod to be very light and super sensititive. What disappoint me is how tip heavy this rod is.. but i would still buy it again though, thats how much im impress with the 895

Re: 6 Inch senko rod
Had dx742, dx743, dx744, dx745
My choice for 6 in senko ( which I use almost exclusively in the delta) is the 744... load perfectly with good hookset on wacky and texas rig...

Re: Rod tip action
If I can only have one rod.. I think I would choose the mbr 843 in any variant you can afford... its just one of those rod that does well in enough in just about anything from treble hooks to stouter flipping hooks.. you should consider this rod
