unpainted hardbaits

Where is everyone's favorite place to buy unpainted hardbait bodies? i am looking for the best quality blank bodies for my money. Price is not as big of an issue as quality. I would rather pay a little more for a high quality lure body.

Thanks in advance

Re: Wal-mart steps up in rod market

Just food for thought boys. Support your local stores, and your good E-tailers. Forget Walmart X2. Walmart is a big reason why mom and pop stores are disappearing from the landscape of our country. I would rather pay more and support a responsible company. X3. Wally world isn’t staying in business ...

Re: Sufix 832 Braid

The line will sink if you merely check a section of it in a bucket of water. However it will float if you're fishing a topwater lure. The line is very supple and watch out for tip wraps. The green color will wear out fast. It was the fastest color lost of any line I've used. The color also stained ...

Re: 16 lb. too heavy for cranbaits?

Like already mentioned, it really depends on line diameter and how deep you want to fish. If you are trying to fish deep crankbaits your going to lose some depth using thicker line.

Re: which fluro to get?

sorry about the little info, curado baitcaster for flipping and pitching, this will be my worm setup mainly. So your saying its bad to put fluro on a spinning reel YES floro on spinning set ups can be a disaster, especially if you have never used it before. You can put up to about 8lb floro but any...

Re: Color presentation

They make hundreds of different colors for a reason. Yes some colors such and black and blue have been proven to catch fish every where. However if you want to maximize your catch you need to be able to fine tune what color you are using. Every body of water is going to have some colors that work be...

SHIMANO SELLUS?

Does any one have one of these rods yet? If so what are your thoughts. This rod seems pretty nice for only being sixty bucks and i was looking for any feedback on it. Thanks in advance.

Re: What is your preferred split shot hook?

I think you still need to match the hook to the size of the bait. A good rule of thumb is a hook with a gap twice as wide as the thickness of the worm. I like a gamy #1 worm hook usually. For skinny 4" worms I'll sometimes use a #1 split-shot/drop shot gamy. sounds about the same for me but i might...
