Re: I think price should be left out of TT review score
One has to realize that giving a Tatula a 9/10 and a Steez an 8/10 doesn't mean the Tatula is a better reel. The ratings need to be observed within the range of product offering ie. comparing Acura to Honda or Volkswagen to Audi is not fair. If you compare a certain Steez model to another Steez mode...

I purchased several spools of their braid when they had their 75% off sale a few years back . . . my understanding was that they were relaunching their product . . . . now their website and social media presence is gone . . . . are they out of busine...

Is the Chronarch being discontinued?
Can't find any information on a successor to the Chronarch MGL. Even the Shimano Japan site doesn't mention it. Does anyone know? Bantam? Thx.

Re: Chronarch MGL
Not sure. I still have an HG... Are you looking to buy one? I still like mine, I don't think it isn't smooth like some have said, just has a buzzy feeling while retrieving. Other than that it casts great still, I would love to see a successor to it... Maybe a Chronarch MGL 50? Like a carbon composi...

Re: New high-end CDM rods - Rapala Concept Ti
Amazing to me how rods for the Canadian Market - specifically the Shift and Concept Ti - are so hard to find in the Canadian Market :x ! Tracking down the new 2012 models (Shift 7'7" Frog rod, Shift 7'9", Shift 7'2" baitcasters, all Concept Ti's) is a nightmare. We live in the largest city in Canada...

Shimano Canis Casting Rods
Does anyone remember these rods?? They're easily 20-25 years old (man I'm getting old . . . . ); they were top of the Shimano line at the time, very sensitive and very light - a tad brittle -but awesome rods. I still use them regularly. Anyway, does anyone know how much -if anything - they might be ...
