The Megabass Arms rods (their $1k rods) had left or right hand grips... There were grooves in the handle made specifically for one or the other hand, unless I am mistaken. I am looking at designing some reel seats myself and am curious if that would be worth it.

Is Megabass the only company that had a left and a right hand ROD? I'm curious if there is any sort of benefit to it or if it just ends up being an overthought process. Any thoughts??

Several guys love them. I've been sent a fair amount of rods with a slant bridge just to harvest the slant bridge for a custom build. The offset allowed the butt to seat against your forearm and not require you to cant your wrist quite so much when fighting a fish. That does make sense. What about ...

Was there ever a benefit to the slantbridge on certain Megabass rods?? I know they don't do it now, so maybe it was all a gimmic, I don't know...

I am looking for some worm hooks that have large enough eyelets to allow for a split ring. I know Gamakatsu has a version that has a ring already attached, but this is not what I am looking for. Most sites don't show the eyelet on every hook, so it is hard to tell... Any help guys??
