Re: What the... Finesse Alphas?
from article: "I commented my ability to reach distances of roughly forty feet with a 3g finesse jig on this combo. That was an on-the-water estimate. Back at TT HQ, I tried again for a more quantitative measurement and can confirm distances of closer to thirty feet. This was with all casting ...

Re: Redefining a Classic, the Lew’s BB1 Baitcaster
Every person on TT can cast 70yds easily just look at the threads about distance. Most get this distance with just 3/8 oz too and oh 65# braid.

Re: Bait the Finesse?!? Shimano -v- Daiwa Product Insight

While engineers are smart (just ask them), they also make mistakes because they sometimes can't see the forest for the trees. Remember that Mars probe they parked sub-surface on Mars, because one set of...

WOW a whole page, a few pictures, mini rant, devoted to an "issue" that turns out to be caused by lack of knowledge of the product. Gotta take your lumps on this one.

Re: Introducing TackleTour's FPI-Fluorocarbon Performance In
Is there a way to measure the sensitivity of each line? This attribute is mentioned quite often in posts about one fluoro being more sens. than another. Like have a bar tap the line(with given force) on one end of say 10' of line and on the other end have a vibration monitor device capturing the tra...
