How comparable is the Komodo?

Ya, that is quite a lot. I am looking at the 7 foot medium weighing 4.36 oz or the 2 piece 7 foot M at 5.18

Do you think this is a better value than the Veritas?

Also, in the Rapala Canada catalog it says the rod is HM-45 but in other catalogs it says HM-55. do you know which one it really is?
