Re: How do u store your tackle gear
I am lucky enough to have had a "fishing" room in my old house. I had a craft desk to work on stuff and stored my tackle in crates on the floor. For my combos I just bought some Berkely horizontal rod holders and mounted them to the wall directly above the desk. I just moved and now I have a storage...

Re: How many combos do you guys have
The 803 is my go to rod. I use it for shallow and smaller Texas rigs plastics I keep a 3/16 bullet weight on the line with a 1/0. hook, and pitching light jigs, mostly in around cover where the 893 is to long or I am in close enough on the structure that I don't need the distance or the depth of th...

Re: Near gear for the season
For your jerkbait/popper rod you could always go with some Sunline supernatural mono or just go with braid and run either a mono or flouro leader depending on what you want to do. Great setups by the way. I really could have used that trolling setup yesterday when I was striper fishing :) did you ge...

Re: 3 baits on a donkey thrasher
TW has a couple of rigs that have only 3 arms. I would just get one of those it would be a little lighter at least and not so tiring to throw all day.

You could always just get some SK's custom painted. I think 6th sense lures and Custom Bass Tackle had some in there auction site stores.

Re: Does anyone know why?
No, Quantum doesn't make lures, but strike king does, and KVD is sponsored by strike king. The point Carlos was trying to illustrate is that the Pro's don't always stick to sponsor gear only. Without calling anyone out, other forum members and I have found examples of this in the elite pros and it c...

Re: Reccomend me a Tackle Bag
You picked two good tackle bags. I have both starting with the Stalker then getting the Browning. I "upgraded" simply because the stalker does not hold anywhere near as much as the browning and I ran out of room. However, I still use the Stalker every time I go fishing in the woods as it is so easy...

Re: Does anyone know why?
I thought I just read somewhere another pro getting sponsored by Megabass this year but it was for Megabass rods only. Maybe they just choose not to offer there reels ?

I would just ask the worst that will happen to you is they will say no. One of my former coworkers who is like 30 years old is an avid freshwater and saltwater fisherman and from Poland. He's only been in the country for like 12 years. Anyway he use to always tell me about him and one of his brother...

Re: Color presentation
I agree with what gotJDM said above. With me 9 times out of 10 with spinnerbaits and buzz baits I start out with white no matter what the clarity and if it doesn't work immediately switch to black. I have plenty of other colors but I'm lazy and find that one or the other ends up working.
