If it were me, I would pm e_bassfisher ( Ian Shields ). He is excellent and honest on his assessments. He has done work for me and I am very pleased with his work.

Dobyns gets my vote. What other rod company can you call and talk directly to the owner if you are having problems with the rod or just need advice about a certain rod?

Hi I have tried to find the post where someone mentioned a guy that is on the forum that is very very good at super tuning. No luck in finding the post. Buck....Thank you for all the information on the Daiwa reels. That was a BIG help to me. I do have a Steez 103SHA and today the TD-Z 103H Type R arrived. The R feels fantastic but the 103SHA spool doesn't spin nearly as long as the TD-Z. I can't wait until I get my broken ribs healed up enough to tr...

Daiwa Type Reels

Does anyone know the difference between the different type Daiwa reels? They have aTD-Z 103, TD-Z 103H, TD-Z 103 Type R, TD-Z 105 Type H, TD X 105 H. What does all these numbers mean?
