Re: Metanium vs Antares
I like the thought of the longer handle but not sure how im going to like those big knobs. I had a JDM steez 103HL with a 100mm handle and loved it. Im thinking about going big and getting the 102.. I currently have the 6'10" MH Poison rod. I will pair with another for spinnerbaits and I want two 6'...

Re: Metanium vs Antares
Thanks for the pic, and thanks for enhancing it. I really like the way that handle looks. Where did you get it?
Reels would be going on 6'10" MH and M poison adrena rods for moving baits. Sounds like I may as well just pull the trigger..

Re: Metanium vs Antares
Bemo, Thanks for the quick reply. Conversing with someone who owns both is valuable to me. So the big question, which of the two do you find yourself most often fishing? Also wouldnt mind seeing a picture of your reel with the new handle if it isnt to much trouble.

Metanium vs Antares
Ive been looking at the 2012 antares since their release and considering pulling the trigger on a few of them this winter. Before I make this investment Im curious to hear what you guys have to say. Im currently fishing all Metanium reels. I love them but of course always looking for more. I fish my...

Re: SHimano Lovers Video #drone
The Juni fishes great too, Hooligan. Its annoying fishing it over the warm weather months thou. So many tubers and other floaters.
It takes about a foot of water to get on plain and then runs in the amount of water it takes to cover your foot, or 2-3"

SHimano Lovers Video #drone
Its been over a year and a half since I uploaded a full length edited fishing video. I was asked to make another fishing video highlighting shimano products and I figured it was about time to do something with the footage ive been collecting lol. Its short and sweet. I figured some of my fellow tack...

Re: help: broken rod, fedex claim
This doesnt make sense to me. I dont see how a rod would break like that if it was packaged correctly. But even when packaged correctly the sender should insure for at least the selling price. Something seems fishy to me. Was this a used rod?

Re: NRX cuts in recoil guides
Whoa, I forgot about this thread. Looks like it turned out to be a hot topic
Thanks for the comments guys!
I fish alot in weather under 40 degrees during which ive noticed the recoil guides get "soft" or bend around easily. I wonder if the grooves were made during these cooler temps.
