Re: Steez CT SV 70 vs Alphas CT SV 70
I own both, steez is super smooth. Casting performance is pretty close. Is the Steez $200 better? Not really in my opinion if you’re just looking for performance... With that being said, my Steez isn’t going anywhere and I’ve even considered buying another one. Not everyone has the same budget or mi...

Re: New Megabass Destroyers
They won’t be getting my money, the new destroyers look cheap IMO... Oh well, I need to cut back on my fishing purchases anyway! I will say that lock nut doesn’t do much for me. However, I really like the nut on the revoltage rods they showed Yeah the lock nut is the part really killing it fo...

If they would have used that titanium on the part of the frame that is matte black it would be money!Hogsticker2 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:52 pm178f701496b30f99d63b93b96207d4045f9e4abc_large.jpgc59b4e41f406dfcdf5877fcbc722000280ff1793_large.jpg10f7c29ebc939e195db87f041377966bcd016d7f_large.jpg

Re: Japan Fishing Show 2020 Predictions
I say this every year for the last 5 or so years. I want a Z1016. That's it. Don't care about anything else since what's currently available is already perfectly fine. Give me a small Z made out of magnesium, without the twing, micro gears from the newer ryoga and charge whatever you want for it, i...

Re: Deep cranking rod
I have a Dobyns Champion 804CB that I use for all of my crankbaits up to a 6XD and it handles them pretty well. The Champion 805CB might be a better option if you’re throwing just deeper divers. I’ve fished a bunch of rods and I keep coming back to Dobyns CB rods, I seem to lose less fish on them th...

Re: Protecting reels from scratches
That's an interesting solution. I don't know how well it would work for the majority of my reels, though. I always keep my cover in my back pocket and put it back on the reel if I have to retie or put it down for any reason and then as soon as I'm finished with that combo before I pick up another o...

Re: FALCON EXPERT AND LOWRIDER
I was looking at a lowrider 7’6” cranking rod in a local shop and barely flexed the tip and it broke off. That’s the third falcon I’ve had break on me... Pretty much turned me off from Falcon. Felt nice up until the tip broke
