Guess I came too late on the kickstarter because it does not seem to be taking anymore backings.
Darn, $150 for a Edge rod would be awesome.

Re: Daiwa liberto pixy?
I did the same and got in touch with Gary from the Tackle Trap. Not only did he secure all parts but I shipped him the reel and had it all installed for $20 I think. I usually do my own bearings and maintenance, but was nervous about having an entire reel a part, especially a higher end reel, though...

The angler is Aaron Martins (A.O.Y. Esq.). Anyway I have not watched it yet, but here is a video about it.

Re: which rod to keep?
I have a Dobyns 805c Flip/Punch rod and a 736c Frog/pitchin/flipping. Im debating on which rod to keep. I mainly fish reservoirs and the mats here aren't that thick here at least for me it isn't. I use my DX744 for my frog set up and it is awesome. I feel like the 805c will be too much rod for me s...

Re: Ipquick : Feedback Request Topic
Lon was great to deal with. There was a problem with the nut and he took care of it really quickly. Good guy. Thinking of buying more handles from him.

Livre Handle on Scorpion 1001mg
First off, thanks for the help. I bought a Livre Handle from a user on this forum, and I can not get it to fit on my Scorpion 1001mg. The handle nut is larger than the end of the post it is suppose to screw onto. Am I missing something? Did the individual send me the wrong cap? The box does say for ...

Re: New HawgTech Swept Handles with matching parts...
Hey guys, this is Mike from Hawg Tech. We recently started building the swept handles and have been selling a few on a pre-order basis. This product is the result of feedback I received (much of which was from this forum) from people who asked for a longer/less bulky version of our straight 94mm ha...

Re: Deep Crankin Reel
I don't know the weight, but for deep cranking I use a Chronarch 201E5 on a Dobyns 705Glass. The combo is great in terms of balance and therefore feeling lighter than weight may suggest.

Re: Reel choice for dx 744c
Maybe I will take the my Scorpion XT1001 off my 704cb put it on the 744 and move my conquest to the 704cb since I use it for small cranks anyway (I use a 705cb glass for bigger). Maybe that will be the best route.

Re: What Orochi XX would make a good frog rod?
If it is purely for frogging I suggest going with a cheaper XF rod. There are many good options that are near half the price of the XX rods. If it is going to double as a pitching rod I suggest a Dobyns 735c or the XX Perfect Pitch. Both are great rods.
