With such a large foregrip on the Fenwick, you can really experiment with reel weight and balance points.

Just bought one. I use a Stradic FJ 2500 on it. basically anything around 8-9 ounces balances it out well in the middle of the extended foregrip. the rod is rated 4-8# test, I run 15# braid to 10lb. fluoro leader for salmon and have had no problems.
