Is this is state specific issue? I've ordered a few items from japan in the last few months and I never have run into a customs issue. I might be one of the lucky one though. Just curious.

Shiny and glossy on some of the parts. Might be a good thing to have that kind of coating for better protection I guess. Not sure I really dig it as much as everyone else. I think I will wait for the other color variants to come out before dumping money on a T3. Always love seeing them bringing out ...

What do you guys with big hands say about the solalphas line? I recently picked one up this year. I have rather larger hands and on a rod it feels sort of too small, but i haven't spooled line on it and fished it yet so I don't have any first hand experience. Curious to see if its starts getting unc...

That rod should handle the task just fine. I had one for bit, 7 ft model and it was great for the money spent. Only thing i disliked was the reel fastener nut dealio. it can dig into your reel.
