Re: St Croix
St. Croix’s high point was their burgundy Legend Elites. That’s the best rod they ever made, and some of the best rods made by anyone, ever, imo. Crazy to think that was back in 2005. Incredible rods, excellent sensitivity, excellent fast actions, strong, impeccable build, Fuji full size titanium gu...

Re: Is Daiwa becoming a Tatula???
Perhaps what’s worse is that Daiwa is completely tone deaf to their customers. (Or atleast the ones in America). When the T-wing came out, it received a lukewarm reception at best(and I think “lukewarm” is being generous). And what did they do? Put it in everything. Or maybe they just don’t care wha...

Can you remove the alpha CT70 Spool spacers?
Any chance you can remove those spool spacers in the alphas CT70 and run a regular alphas spool in it?
Also- are the brakes different on the CT model and possibly pose an issue?
Thanks in advance

Re: Tatula SV TW103 inital thoughts
Sounds like it’s dry. Open it up and check and add a little grease to the gears.
Don’t be scared, there’s nothing to it.

These look awesome and that video is wonderful.
I wish that 7’1H was a full grip, that would be an instant buy.

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa
New project T video up: https://youtu.be/8sQeZToR8Pc Appears to just be a new... Tatula TW. ](*,) Watching the Diawa pros try to come up with praises was awkward. Came across as pretty forced & salesman-ish. In fairness, it appears to be an entry level model & they all use much better Diawa reels(es...

Awesome!
For many around the world, that’s a once in a lifetime fish. The fact you got a big fish win in a tournament with it makes it that much sweeter!

Re: SV103- too smooth?
I have to agree with the OP, it doesn't have the 'connected' feel of previous Daiwas. It's got a... 'glossed over' feeling, for lack of a better term. Almost reminds me of the D7. Smooth as can be, but there's no connected feeling, moreso on the sv103. I love the reel it's rock solid & casts great, ...

Good story man, made me smile big time. And good to see he caught a fish!
Maybe Santa will bring him a Daiwa SV reel for Christmas. Those SV spools are fantastic for beginners.

Re: 2019 kistler z bones in stock
I know these have been on pre order for awhile, now they're currently on the website. They have a interesting guide train. Yeah, that's a little squirrelly, especially on flagship $500+ rods. Not too bad though(assuming they're all Fuji). At least they aren't micros. Just saw the review, wow... 201...
