Corinne and Matt are great people and they take pride in there work. Top notch customer service that felt more like a friend helping you. Corinne apologized for not shipping the part out because the mail was already picked up. The reason Corinne didn't get it out is, I asked Corinne and Matt to not ...

Re: Line stacking up on one side.
Do you have the line threaded correctly through the reel? The line needs to go under the bar on the hood not above it. If I remember correctly if the line is above the bar, it will spool to one side.

I like the T3B and 1016 at the price you can get them for. I would not fork out 500

The Rage's are nice rods. I have 3, 2 casting and 1 spinning. I have the RC7'2MM that I have paired with an EXO 5:3:1. Great great combo for 1.5 squarebills and rattle baits to 5/8 I have the RC71MHXF for bottom contact baits. Beast of a rod but not super sensitive I also have the RS610MXF paired wi...

Re: HPR bearings from the auction site?
Might be too late but HP bearings are good guys to deal with. Good SS bearings. I use them in a few of my reels and no problems with themvncnt wrote:Has anyone used the HPR bearings from eBay? Looking to upgrade some bushings to bearings in spinning reels. Any input is appreciated.

^ Only if you let it get to the point to where it is telling you it is time to oil... I have to clean and oil the drum 2 times in a day of fishing on 2 reels. I have cleaned both reels, flushed the bearings and replaced the bearings in 1 of the reels. Maybe my friend and I got defective reels. We b...

Re: New Curado 70
All this noise is simple in my mind: SVS is higher performance and higher maintenance than the older VBS. I really don't understand all the fuss though because it takes less than 45 seconds to do the 'maintenance' suggested in the owner's manual of these reels. https://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: New Curado 70
Looks like a fantastic reel. Though if it makes that same squealing noise on the cast that the 200i makes, I won't be owning any of them. If they fix that noise issue, I may own 5 of these. Justin Read the directions and you won't have the problem. still happens if you follow the directions. This i...

If you can find a Abu Garcia Soron STX (20 size) grab it. A true beast. I've had mine for 5ish years and not 1 problem. It still feels just as good now as day 1.
I don't know why Abu stopped making this reel.
