Re: Nrx/conquest finesse rod

I love my NRX 852c, I don't think its to stiff at all, its one hell of a tube jig rod for smallies.

I wish there was a Conquest 841s, that would be amazing....

That’s a wicked ice combo. Nicely done.
Thanks,
I like Ice fishing but would rather have it warm and sunny out LOL.

So I'm in no hurry for ice fishing

Re: Nrx/conquest finesse rod

842 Conquest and 852 NRX would be my choice for versatility.

I use my 842 Conquest mostly for small jerkbaits, I use a Orochi XX whipsnake for drop shot and a Destroyer Flyssa for Ned rigs.

852c NRX I use for tube jigs and keitch fat impact.

Re: Pics of most balanced high end rod please

Mine would probably be the GLX 842 with a Metanium 13.

I would just keep them in the original bag and then in you pocket.

Re: TackleTour Shootout : Stella FJ vs Exist LT

Exactly. You could add the best bearings on the planet to the Certate LT and it is never going to be nor feel like an Exist LT and as Cal wrote, it isn't intended to be. I am a big fan of the Certate LT, it's the best upper middle echelon spinning reel out there in my opinion, and I have one on an ...

Re: Sunline Xplasma Asegai

I just ordered the 30lb for one of my metaniums. I wanted the powerpro super slick v2 but they were sold out of my size/color preference. Figured I’d give the Sunline a try since I love their other lines. Will try to report back in a month or so. Any updates on the Xplasma? Yes I can provide an upd...

Weight plays a big role... the Exist LT is pretty special because of that. The Certate LT is nice too, but it's no Exist or Stella nor is it intended to be.
But besides the weight what is the difference?

Same, USPS.

You use the EMS tracking number on the USPS site once it reaches the U.S.

Re: TackleTour Shootout : Stella FJ vs Exist LT

Very nice review, well done. I've done my own shoot out as well with both reels on everything from the legendary Steez AGS 76MML, Legend Elite 7'6" ML and M, Megabass Flyssa, Brigand, Addermine, X7 Simoom, NRX 852s, 872s, Conquest 902, and several others. There's no doubt the Stella is a high quali...

The color on the NRX I like even more haha, but yeah I agree, megabass are simply gorgeous rods.

Re: Sensitivity

I have tried most of the high end rods and built on several the best blanks. Imo the blank is what makes the biggest difference. Line is #2 and guides #3. I cannot build anything that feels as sensitive to me as a conquest does. What conquests are you using? You really think they are ugly? This is ...
