Re: ZPI Reel?

One would think a ZPI 9ffering would have some color and or flash. This thing looks so boring and underwhelming.

Re: EDGE RODS by Gary Loomis?

Just search my post history if you want the full version. Short version...great blanks, poor guide layouts, poor build quality, poor service. Some nice people work there and are polite, but completely overwhelmed and under prepared. I've had several on and off line conversations with their CEO Alex....

Re: What reel for frogging on a MB perfect pitch?

The SV103 with Zillion 50th 7.3 gears is my new jam. I feel the 7.3s have ever so slightly more power, slightly slower, but seem much more durable. I replaced 2 sets of 7.9s for getting rough after two seasons. The 7.3 I have is well seasoned and still smooth as glass. I just put 7.3 gears into my ...

Re: Spinning Reel Daiwa Ballistic LT made in Japan....

Just ordered the 2000D from Singapore. Total cost was $228 shipped. I was extremely excited because on the website it mentioned a 12/1 bearing configuration. I found that neat because there are only a few reels that have that much refinement in Daiwa's lineup. However, after looking at the pictures...

Re: 7.1 or 7.3 ft rod for hollow bodied frogs

I fish shorter frog rods than most. Nothing over 7' and I am 6'4" tall. I cannot understand the appeal of a longer rod. Even with the 7' rod, I can sometimes dip the tip in the water. Not to mention if you ever shore fish. I watched a shorter man trying to frog with a 7'4"+ rod and it looked awkward...

Re: TDZ 103H vs TDZ Type R

I have 2 type R spo ok le and they fat out bomb! You have to be fairly careful, but when you need to get a bait out there to schooling fish or just bomb a frog...it cant beat. I run one in a TD-Z and the other in a SV103 for frigging.

Always tempted to find an R+ to see what I'm missing.

Re: Tacklewarehouse - Why not to Preorder...

Currently have ZERO icast items I ordered.

Not a huge deal as I have a boat full of crap. It just is stupid to promote pre orders in this way.

Re: Edge Rods

Great blanks. I have been underwhelmed by the guide layout and build quality. They really need better builders and someone who knows how to space the guides better. The rod I bought had extreme flat spots and line touching the blank under minimal flex. I've spoke with their management and unfortunat...

Re: Tacklewarehouse - Why not to Preorder...

I did call and was told they are holding my items until all arrives. I informed them this was not what I had expected. However, if it was worth $50 they will send. But now all I have waiting is a couple poppers. It's more frustrating than a real problem. I'm just not sure why they pushed the preorde...

Tacklewarehouse - Why not to Preorder...

Perhaps I am foolish for thinking they would send items as they arrive. I swear I read somewhere, " pre-order now and will send the item out as soon as it reaches Tackle Warehouse". The problem is, they will wait till all back order / pre-ordered items are there to send in one shipment. Why did I pr...
