What did you use to pull the spacers?
Those belong to my buddy. He pulled them out (or should I say pry), with various small tools. He said it was a total b!tch.

Re: New Poison Adrena

Received Adrena 7’2 h last week and had it out over the weekend. I put a zillion sv tw on it with 15lb tatsu. I was fishing in 10 fow with mostly old dead weeds with lots of stumps and a few rocks mixed in, 3/16 tungsten and a brush hog. Rod felt like I was pulling threw mush. I was very surprised ...

Re: Spool choice for Zilion Type R/916C (34mm)

Sounds like you have a handful of spools to already try. Start there \:D/. If you want something in the SV camp, try to source the dimpled, limited Steez 103 spool.

Re: Question about imperfections on x-ray blank

Shouldn't be. I find that guide wrap and cut outs in the blank under the reel seat unacceptable. The lines and swirls on the blank are normal though. It's your money Chris, but if you're not happy with the results, don't let it slide. Especially at the cost of these builds. The crap part is that it'...

Re: Tube rod

Maybe take a look at the Phenix Feather and new M1. They could work for you.

Re: Help with Evergreen designations

Yes we do need an "Evergreen guide for dumies" thread! Especially since its harder to just find online like Megabass stuff. So Designo is produced certain lines of blanks for Evergreen kind of like Olympic does now? My Stingray says Designo so I guess that means Designo produced that particular bla...

Re: Tube rod

It would be helpful if you could provide a ballpark price range. Also anything specific you might prefer in a rod. With so many options on the markets, you might as well get as close to exactly what you want.

Re: Round Reel Refinement - The JDM Daiwa Millionaire CT SV70

There's been a bit of mixed feelings upon members, regarding this reel. Not that it's necessarily bad, but a poorer performer in comparison to the other CT 70 reels. I've been on the fence for a while now. Those damn orange spacers drive me a bit nutty. It's a bit of an odd ball, being that it's a g...

Re: Is the Senko Still King in 2020?

What do you use them for? I like me some finesse and/or trick worms as much as the next guy, but I fish them on a shaky head, dropshot etc. Maybe wacky or neko. For t-rigging, a stick bait sounds like the better option. I fish them for all you mentioned. If I start tossing a Texas rig, I generally ...

The reel he's using now would get my vote.
Which means the OP gets to shop for a new reel for himself, that's the perfect solution lol

Re: ML Blank Suggestion

If you want something with a little more power, to comfortably reach that half ounce, my recommendation would be the Phenix Umbx 606L or 700L.
If you can swing another 20 bucks, I can't recommend Point Blank enough. 661lf or 691mlxf. I have the latter, and it's one of my favorite blanks.
