Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down

Definitely recommend the FMJ, you could fish with that stick all day and not get sick of it... I have not been able to handle the FMJ yet, I am torn between the FMJ and Daemos. My goal is to get something with a similar power/length to the p3 Bearing down, but with a slightly softer tip. That rod w...

Re: The Wife's Combo

Sadly I broke 3 inches off one of my X7 Powerhouse. My wife doesn't fish much at all so I don't even want to spend money on a Wal-Mart setup for her. So the few times she fishes with me she get a to use the broken powerhouse, new tip top, with my old stradic FJ. One time she heard me cast my baitcas...

Re: MB dock rod

I'll be tossing 1/2 with rage craw 90% of the time. Yeah I've heard the Super Rekkai is too stout, not enough tip. I've had the OG Evoluzion F5 1/2-68xti in the spring but never really fished it. Kind of felt the rod was a tad bit under power for pulling fish out under dock quickly but again I didn'...

MB dock rod

I'm considering a few rods for skipping jigs under docks. I prefer the rod to be from 6'6-6'10. A few rods I have consider and was wondering what are your thoughts on them for skipping. Or another MB rod in the length range you have in mind. Evoluzion F5 1/2-68xti Phase 3 super destroyer F6-69x Phas...

Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down

I have all 3 of those rods. FMJ is 1 power stronger. Phase 3 and X7 BD are so different it shouldn't even share the same name. All great rods.

Re: SV103 with braid

XS has high speed level wind and handles braid like most. I'm running 50lb YGK (diameter of 30lb PP) and very little line digging. I don't think you can ever get away from some sort of line digging with braid but with this reel you won't notice it being worse either. https://s25.postimg.org/3tlq35l3...

Re: Destroyer USA Oneten special

Gary, I'm not really sure how the handle length is measured. On TW site they listed the handle length to be 13 3/4" and Daemos to be 15". For my Daemos from lock nut to butt it was 15 1/4". Need to get an idea so I can compare it to my X7 Cylcone Advantage for reference since it has a short handle.

Destroyer USA Oneten special

Anyone here fished the rod? A lot of info on the Daemos, FMJ, and Javeline but haven't seen much about the Oneten Special. I'm actually not looking to toss jerkbaits on the rod. From handling the rod at the store it felt like it can be a good all around medium power rod. Tip has a nice soft action a...

Re: Pixy TN

12lb sniper FC. I drop shop in moderate cover on this setup so need a tad stronger line. My open water DS setup is 22lb YGK braid with 8lb leader.

Bunch of my IG pics.

I don't visit the forum as much these days so just going to throw all these pictures in one post. I'm so glad I'm not using photobucket anymore. Postimage is much easier to use. https://s25.postimg.org/c3rynst8v/IMG_20170526_092901_582.jpg https://s25.postimg.org/x4i08pwr3/IMG_20170511_191236_367.jp...

Re: Drop shot

Sadly I closed the rod locker on my Super Eiger so the Phase 3 ENW will have to do for now.
