Re: More Parabolic Punch Rod

I posted about this rod in punching thread but deserves to be mentioned again here if you’re still looking or want another. New zbone 76 heavy MOD. Parabolic, ultra sensitive, and just addicting when you pick it up and starting flipping, punching what have you. Best rod I’ve ever used for those app...

Idk but, It casts a 1/2oz from VERY well during my testing. I think line capacity would be the limit.

I originally decided not to get it and kinda regretted it at first. Once I gave it a few casts...completely changed my mind.

Re: More Parabolic Punch Rod

The Megabass X7 Destruction is WAY under powered for any real punching duties. I use mine for C-Rigs and even then it requires a hell of a hookset to overcome the moderate action and meh power it has. The Black Jungle Punch & Swimbait is a great option. My Destruction broke. I think I hit it with a...

Re: hedgehog Air Bfs bearings

They come with Alchemy Oil in them. Using a drop of the low viscosity Alchemy Oil every so often is recommended. Thats what I do.

2019 Skipping Preference

What is your preference of gear for skipping baits? his has been discussed in the past. In the past few years, the tried and true braking systems of the major reel manufacturers have got a major facelift. Daiwa's SV, Shimano's SVS Infinity and new DC iterations to name a few. When listing your skipp...

Re: Replacing a reel seat

I would use the fiberglass mesh self-adhesive drywall tape. It works excellent, holds itself in place better and is porous. The epoxy gets all around it and still leaves plenty of blank surface area to bond to, as well. Not to mention, its not adversely affected by water like masking tape is. X2!!!...
