Re: SLP works Steez SV TV "semi-order" system on PLAT

Thanks for the clarification. I've been looking around various sites just now trying to figure it out. I like the option.

SLP works Steez SV TV "semi-order" system on PLAT

For those of you who are still thinking about a new steez sv tv (as am I). I was looking at PLAT and they have a custom order option for this reel from slp. Sorry if cross posting. One thing that interests me is I think this may be the only way currently to get the deeper sv spool with the 8.1 ratio...

Re: Megabass Rod for vertical Fishing from the Boat

If you can find them, I would recommend the MB XOR series. The Rampage is a gorgeous rod. I think there was one for sale on this forum a long time ago that for some reason wasn't selling. I wish I could have seen the post at the time.

Re: LOGISTE TACKL ????

I've never dealt with them, but looked in the past. Prices were too good to be true. Folks on other forums said it was a fraud, so I've stayed away.

Re: B and B bait box

This looks fantastic. The stock ones they have will help me out. I've been on a web search recently for something like this and had trouble finding much other than Plano style plastics or boxes that looked too loose and messy. Glad I held out. Thanks!

Re: Mars Kayu and Somasi Rods

His casting is art. There's no video magic there either. He's rapid firing for 9-12 minutes at a time and it's all on the money. Funny thing is it inspired me to go froggin yesterday even though I'd be throwing something else right now to compare technique so to speak. Ha. Got to work on my action I...

Re: Mars Kayu and Somasi Rods

Thank you for posting on this. I have not seen these vids and have been thoroughly enjoying them. I'd like to learn more about his tackle in general down to the treble hooks he's using. The way he fights, I was in suspense every time thinking a hook would straighten out or something go wrong. But he...

I've had good experience also. Shipping worried me, but was surprisingly fast.

Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!

Being a transplant, what I call the "Florida spring" is almost over. Started fishing the 110 this season in January. Did a little test. I caught roughly 68 bass in my backyard in addition to the occasional gar, bowfin, etc. Lost two 110s to the fishing gods and had to replace a treble (one per) on t...

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods

A lot of interesting rods to choose from in the new US Destroyer line. The oneten special seems tempting at 6'11''. Definitely the heavier rods came out for US tastes.

Re: Is79 and rod overboard

A couple of times I've returned as soon as I could to the spot of the loss with a rake like this http://www.lakeweeds.eventwebsitebuilder.com/long-reach-rake.html Took quite a bit of time and likely just as much luck, but I'm 2/2 so far with recovery. Luckily both times it was a glass lake at the ti...

Re: **Megabass Warrock SL-70HC**

What an absolutely stunning rod. Although I'm a big fan of current generation MB rods, I love the older stuff. I've thought about getting something more salt specific to try out in freshwater. This has been thinking again...

Got on the interwebs. Guess I should have done it sooner. Just a tilapia  Guess I should have kept it. Anyway, my first!

New fish species on my personal list in fresh water

Caught it this morning (Feb 26) off dock in Central Florida. Was 4.5 pounds according to the bocas. On 110 junior clear laker. Some type of cichild? This is new to me. Fought like a beast.

16 Zillion 1016sv--xxhl question

Does anyone know if this reel will be limited in the 9.1 ratio for a lefty? I'd like to get it, but wanted to wait. Will it be a pain to get later or will there be many stamped out to buy at will?
