Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

They had trouble competing with Daiwa and Shimano. Without a gimmick and a lot of paid youtubers, its very hard to get noticed when the other two delivering quality

Megabass, Daiwa, Shimano 4life. Rest can go away. :!:

Re: The Megabass Hyuga should be way more popular than what they're.

Had some pics in another thread but here is a decent comparison. Royal purple HHS parts and IOS Factory knobs. Lighting not cooperating very well today bit you can see the deeper purple. yea, the hyuga needs to be under proper lighting to be really purple. On a sunny day it would be much more purpl...

They do not match, no. SLP is more of a Deep Purple, while the Hyuga is more of a Royal Purple (by hedgehog colors).

Re: The Megabass Hyuga should be way more popular than what they're.

I have two of the 2 piece models. An ML spinning which I really don't love and a heavy power casting rod that works well. Got them as travel rods and they do a job. I generally dislike the build of japanese spinning rods anyway, but this one is better than many. The blank is dead and has an odd tap...

These rods are absolutely amazing for the money. From build quality to sensitivity, really awesome rods. Bet you they would have been much more popular if TT made an official review on them

Re: Daiwa 2018 SV LIGHT LTD-TN

The paint job looks cheap. Can't be any worse than that crap job they did on the limited Steez 105s. The paint peels if you look at it wrong. Sure is. But at least the limited steez looks nice. This on the other hand, looks like a $180 reel supposed to compete with the Curado K. In other words, not...
