Tatula Elite vs Steez A

I was reading through comments on another post and was curious, are the Steez A and tatula elite similar enough that the steez A isn't worth the extra money? Or are the parts lower quality inside the tatula?

Re: Sensitive jig rod

Can't speak to the 74 since I haven't handled it. I got the 72 in today and pitched a jig around my apartment some. Sensitivity is very impressive and the handle gives the whole setup a very connected feel which is hard to describe but very unique, at least among the rods I have used. The taper is ...

ALF got me as well. Elite feels super solid. SV TW less so; if I keep it, it's getting knobs and a drag star stat.
Dang, maybe I should have bought two elites. I figured the sv would be easier or more forgiving for my son though.

Re: 6’10” st croix glass

How do you like the 7'4" glass? I think I might pick one up soon if I don't see something else I want more. Are you talking about the 6'10" MH or M ? I’m referring to the Med I’m selling all my cork crucial cranking sticks for the Med but I like the medhvy. This is freakin ridiculous. It like I’m r...

I suspect the Elite to be for mid to heavier baits long casts, the SV for lighter, finesse baits and/or flipping/skipping/etc. I could be wrong...

Re: Tatula Elite vs '20 tatula sv

WHo would you recommend to buy the Elite, who to buy the 20 Tatula SV? Thanks guys. I just bought one of each. (American legacy had a 20% off daiwa sale) Won't be able to fish until they open the lakes in my area though. There was a poll on the daiwa buy sell trade page on Facebook and last I looke...

Re: Daiwa Tatula SV TW

On a separate note I did verify that for those like me that are using the Elite Long Cast for froggin' that you will be able to purchase the Elite p&F handle if you prefer the larger handle for power techniques. I will get pricing as soon as its released and post. Do you use the 7.1 or 8.1 for frog...

Take a look at the Phenix glass cranking rods, they make them in both red and blue.
Will do. I've been wanting one of their rods.

Cranking rod

Picked up a millionaire Bay casting special and want to use it for cranks, possibly spinnerbaits or blades jigs or something but I want a rod that kind of matches (wasnt thinking that far ahead when I bought it). Anyway I was looking at the dobyns champion xp line and not sure whether to go glass or...

Re: Alphas Appreciation Thread

Here is one of mine that I already have a pic of. This is an Alphas SV105 with 7.2 gears added, along with an 85mm carbon handle and a PX-R drag star. I'll post more later today. https://i.postimg.cc/PfDg07gY/20200207-222700.jpg What cast control knob is that? It's from the Aird 100R Red Tune. The ...

Re: Reel Recommendation for Steez XBD Frog Rod

I had a Zillion Type-R on mine back in the day, but put a Steez A on my new AGS version... They are nice. I like the look of the morethan as well. If you have the money and don't mind spending it than go with the Morethan and don't look back. I want one but the more I think about it, I probably sho...
