Re: RC Trickster spinnerbait

update. the trickster didn't make it but about an hour, then you had to pump it to get the front blade turning. i think i'll just stick with baits i assemble at home, i never seem to have any problems with those.

Re: Dock skipping setup

skipping is not something i really do, but i got on a kick 6-7 years ago to try and learn how. i was just using what i had at the time, which was an original fuego and a 7'mh tds. the 843 should work out just fine since it's got plenty of tip.

Re: anybody pour brush jigs here?

i'm wanting some 3/8oz brush jigs poured on a light wire hook, and with a softer weedguard. anybody have this mold? i hate to buy into the whole thing considering i really don't need a ton, and i have no interest at all in trying to sell jigs. Jason, I have that mold and I can custom pour/paint the...

Re: RC Trickster spinnerbait

i picked up a couple at my local wal-mart yesterday. they only had 1/2oz white and wht/chart.

i had 1 of these back in the day, and it really wasn't a very good bait. the new 1's have a small red teardrop bead on the shaft to prevent the clevis from getting past the bend.

Re: Best rods under $50?

i have no experience with their spinning rods, but the one 3 defy black rods are brand new @ $60. i have the 7'9 crank rod, and am impressed. for the spinning, i don't really think i would like the seat on it though.

Re: What's Next???

i'd probably go with a tat sv, considering it's very similar to the zillions that you already have, yet it's $100 cheaper. if it's a technique that's not your most used, you get a reel that has a very familiar feel in hand. i've only got 1 tat, but it's really a very smooth feeling reel.

Re: Steex XT rods

I'm thinking the Zillion rods maybe a better deal than the Steez XT rods since the Zillions have SIC guides and the XT doesn't. Both are SVF rods and the handles don't matter that much to me. I have the Tatula Elites rods and really like them and the sensitivity is as good as any other rod I have u...

Re: Steex XT rods

i've wondered about these rods, but you don't seem to hear much. at one time, i had the regular steez 7' mh and the compile-x 7'1, and loved the rods. i had to sell everything that had value a few years ago, and am just now back to fishing. folks seem to talk about the lack of sensitivity with the s...

Re: Hey Matt ...

Not sure on my M 6'10 rod but I love it. I use it for drop shotting with 1/4oz tungsten and 9 inch worm. stuck some really nice one with it. I go to rod when I'm drop shotting big worms have you ever used this rod for 3/16-1/4 shakey? i've got the omen 6'10 coming and planning on trying it for this...

Re: Is anyone else dissapointed in Icast '17?

seems the classic expo is really becoming the place new gear is introduced. it's the same thing in the music instrument industry. summer namm doesn't seem to produce a lot.
