Not sure about the comparison between the Conquest 50 and the Conquest 100, but I ordered and received my Conquest 50 this past weekend. I have it matched to a Daiko Burroughs BRSC-64L. I threw split shot Fluttercrafts yesterday with no problems. I have it spooled with 6lb INVIZX. Very nice combo.

Same experience here as far as packing of rods from Plat.co.

I use Storsit covers http://storsit.com/. They're great for protecting rods while in rod lockers but as you can see by the website, they don't cover pass the reel. I use the ones that come with the rods for storing them at home.

That and if I could get Jun at Japantackle to drop the price on the TD-Z he has in the Bargain and Limited Cave, I'd be a happy camper...and believe me I've made a few offers to him already.

I thought about getting another one (have one paired w/ TD-Z Custom in gunmetal grey) but have been drooling over the Evergreen Temujin Crossfire too. Even with the lower cost for the Evergreen at Ginrin, the MB is almost half the cost so I'm having difficulty justifying the Evergreen .
