Re: Finesse at the Entry Level: Abu Garcia's Revo S20

Sorry guys, not Wolbugger's fault. Looks like we have some coding problems with this article and the matrixes have some legacy data from another review. This is being corrected now though there are still some formatting issues that will be worked out within the hour. Thanks for catching the issue Fi...

Thanks guys, sorry for the typo. The final number was correct in the matrix as well as the final ratings matrix, just had a typo in the tabulation box. Edited and didn't change the scoring, thanks for the heads up.

Re: Is the Native Watercraft "Ultimate 12" Fishing Kayak ...

The review says the MSRP is $799. Austin Kayak says the MSRP for the basic model is $1,099. Where are you finding Ultimate 12s for $799? I'd like to buy one at that price. Hi wbook01, some local shops sell it for this price. http://www.andythornal.com/products/native-ultimate-14-5-kayak?vfsku=44737...

Re: Redefining a Classic, the Lew’s BB1 Baitcaster

Sorry to hear about your friend, Zander, and many thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed answer under those conditions. I'm sure you'll "forgive" me for still being obsessed with distance, as I'm stuck on shore and any extra distance I can get is a godsend. As a matter of fact, most of...

Re: Redefining a Classic, the Lew’s BB1 Baitcaster

Sorry for the delayed reply guys. Has been a rough week, a close friend of mine passed away unexpectedly and just drove back from the service in Reno this evening. On this subject, the key takeaway from this reel is that it is not just a good caster, but it is a good caster at this price point. Seco...

Re: Still the Benchmark, the BogaGrip

Hi Haoz, It's pretty accurate accross the range, and as far as spring loadedscales go among the most accurate we have tested. The smaller sizes are more acccurate for weighing lighterfish as the larger scale really provides more interpratation for sub 8lb. objecs (fish). I re-tested the 130 after a ...

Re: Not just “Smoke” and Mirrors, Quantum

In the highspeed reel shootout, in regards to the quantum's main gear you had this to say about it: "the Quantum's main gear felt very vulnerable. Not only is it the smallest in diameter, thickness, and material behind the teeth, it is made of aluminum and is significantly lighter than the other re...

Re: How G.Loomis Rods are Made - A Behind the Scenes Look

This was a very informative article and never really knew the work that goes into making rods. One thing I don't get is once the graphite is taken off the mandrel doesn't that mean the rod core is hollow? :? I'm sure I am missing something, if someone would be so kind to enlighten me. Hi Mike_Honch...
