Re: YEN Continues Dropping

Prices in Japan actually are dropping in dollars, this is why it even better do shopping over there. I wonder if prices are dropping over there because of some other issues besides currency values? Their prices are still too high though. I won't pay it but if some can afford it all the power to the...

Sorry, I actually mentioned about prices rising here in US on USDM. Recently checked lures I wanted to replace DUO, LC, Megabass - prices went ...

I think the closest would be the Zappu Sasuteki Tungsten Sinkers.

Re: Daiwa Introduces New Zillion Reels with T-Wing (TWS) Sys

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING! Again, Daiwa didn't make a reel with lowest gear ratio of that line in lefty version. This is simply a discrimination of right-handed anglers!!!

Re: Is 5.1:1 really necessary anymore?

lol. You forget one is a mac truck, the other one is a sports car. Sure, both can do 60mph, but not when you are towing something. It's like asking a contractor why carrying around a giant tool box when there is a Leatherman multi-tool on their belt? The answer is the right tool for the right job. ...

Re: Is 5.1:1 really necessary anymore?

I agree with everything you said except the gear ratio allowing you to maintain a desired depth, not sure how that really applies here. A faster gear ratio, reeled slower, is going to do the same thing. Heck, I may want to cover more water quicker, and it might do it better. +1 You can always slow ...

Re: New Reel for skipping jigs

That I gotta disagree with. With T3 SV I do exactly the same. I switch between the 3 settings with the dial for minute changes. With VBS I do everything on 2. On SVS infinity I also use two ( dial in mid )then for those times when I need the brakes real low I back the braking cone dial right back. ...
