Re: Bass Pro xps fc

I looked at the package of BPS fluoro - it says - Made in Japan. Anyone knows who makes the line for them?
I used to heard rumor, it was made by Toray.

Re: Best Daytime Topwater Colors for Clear Lakes

Most of the time I fish clear water lakes, with 90% spotted bass population and blueback herring as a predominant forage. I used to think the ghost type colors should be better for topwaters or shallow running jerkbaits in those conditions, now my experience says - flash better attracts spotted bass...

Re: Beginning my own cleanings? Ardent butter oil?

I was referring to the finesse bearings from ZPI, since the Air BFS bearings were the original reference. Hence, an apples-to-apples comparison of the 2 competing BFS offerings indicates a more reasonable price from Hedgehog (Air BFS) vs. the similar product from ZPI. 8-) And FWIW, the Air BFS bear...

Re: Throwing top end baits at docks

I broke couple Oneten's while fishing parallel to docks, anyway, never had much success with hardbaits close to docks, maybe because most of the docks are in 25-40 feet deep range. Skipping jigs is another story.

Re: Beginning my own cleanings? Ardent butter oil?

Yes, they have excellent products. But even with the recent gains of the Dollar against the Yen, the ZPI stuff is still more expensive. The Air bearings are an excellent product at a more reasonable price vs. ZPI's offerings. ZPI SiC Finesse bearings cost more because they are hybrids, Hedgehog BFS...

My vote is for Metanium, especially if you want to throw from 1/4Oz range.

I would consider ZPI bearings. Great supertuning company makes nice product, both BFS and standard hybrids.

Re: 1 more Tatula spool question

To Daiwa Have couple questions about Tatula. 1. Why do you have Tatula with gear ration 5.4:1 only as right handed version? Where is a lefthanded model? Everything else comes in both, doesn't understand that logic...? 2. Can I swap 5.4:1gears to 6.3:1 lefty Tatula in order to make 5.4:1 lefty Tatula?
