Re: New abu morrum (usdm) on TW

Love round reels, but I'd rather have the JDM mag version. May try one during the black Friday sales for 20-25% off. Why wait? http://global.rakuten.com/en/search?pf=&pt=&f=0&fs=0&vm=2&sm=0&st=&tl=0&k=morrum :evil22: :evil22: Can't stand current pricing for Japanese products in US. Local distributo...

Re: T3 SV 8.1R-TW Initial Thoughts

DaveJ In the lake I mostly fish, it has predominately spotted bass population. LM are not really chunky here. Most of them look skinnish. Probably harder for them compete with spots. Maybe in spring time she was ~8lb. This is why I always have digital scales with me. So far upgraded the reel with ZP...

Re: T3 SV 8.1R-TW Initial Thoughts

Been using Daiwa T3 SV 8.1 for about two weeks. So far only positive experience. Exceptional caster, put around 60 yard mono with some backing ( didn't knot backing and mono), on long cast position, was able to cast all line out with Super Spook on it, had to ask a guy with the boat to get my bait b...

Re: Straight up long distance

I would vote for 2012 Shimano Antares. Find a video on youtube where the guy casts for 99 meters distance. This is the power of marketing. The reel question is: Can you cast 99 meters with the same reel in a fishing situation? Power of marketing, correct. I seen another Japanese video, the guys cou...

Re: Bearing upgrades,waste of money?

lpquick Yes, I red that post and others. Cleaned and lubricated my BB several times with high speed Boca oil, compared them in non-lubricated condition too. Same thing. I understand, if the difference would be couple seconds... Hope, maybe anyone else experienced same situation, and has the solution.

Re: Bearing upgrades,waste of money?

I bought couple hybrid-ceramic bearings and noticed what a rotation time of each bearing is different.
One bearing spins around 6sec, another spins 12sec. What is the best location for "slow" and "fast" bearing in that case?
Is it any chance to make "slow" bearing faster?

Re: Megabass Vision 110 issue

Just bought three Vision Oneten's, and decided to scale them. All three showed different weight - 13,4g;13.5g; 13.9g I understand 0.1g difference, but 0.5g  Any logical explanation? Tomorrow gonna look how they sit in the water. Checked couple Jackall's, and Zipbaits I have - the weight is ab...

I like Jackall Wacky Jig heads weedless, because of tungsten heads.

Re: Casting Distance: Braid vs. Mono vs. Fluorocarbon

I use mostly top quality Japanese braid lines (Varivas, YGK).
And braid hands down wins in casting distance, if you compare let say 10lb braid over 10 fluorocarbon or mono.

Thank you. First I want to see how megabass japan handles it.
Jraymond,

Did you email to Megabass Japan?
Did they answer you at all?

Re: Busted Vision 110

The lip of 110 already beefed up and stronger now compare to previous years of production. I understand they had too many complains from the local anglers. This is info from Megabass Japan, I called them about two months ago, when I broke mine, the name of the representative was Kensuke.

Re: Busted Vision 110

Megabass Japan are not going to replace broken lures.
Same rule works for Japanese anglers. This is what I been told from the person who lives in Japan.
