I just saw the commercial (from a recorded MLF) , didn't think he said CT , just Tatula SV TW. Still looked sweet !!

Ive had that happen with a few reels , especially old garcia's..it's usually lack of grease or lack of good grease on the thumb bar mechanism. penn grease works well , a light coat with a acid brush.

I don't think line capacity is a issue with the 70. I have one loaded with 17 lb silver thread and haven't come close to throwing all of the line off of it. I do prefer the CT type R over the curado i , much easier to work with. the 70 braking system is pretty good, the curado i style brakes are not...

Yes they would. On par with most abec 7 from what I've been told by the guys at the tackle trap.

Can I use the same Hot Sauce grease I use on my gears?
cal's is a teflon grease , that's the difference. you can also buy it straight from shimano over the phone.

I have 65 lb on my flipping stick , I like it a lot , really smooth and handles well..With one $15.00 spool I can put 50 yards on my flipping reel, 3 times. That's sweet !

uni to uni , I have no time for a FG knot when the fish are biting (if you have ever had the bite shutdown while you were re-tying a knot you would understand). I use it for tarpon , bass , reds , snook , everything.
