Re: Most hideous reel seat you've seen?

You think shiny plastic is bad then try low effort plastic or even ultra low effort plastic. Doesn't even incorporate the foregrip into the locking hood. It just has the base hood and then a fore grip as separate entities then then expects that to be considered normal instead of cringe. "yup this h...

The new Alien seat thats on the Fenwick HMG and the Berkley Lightnin' Rod are awful. They feel, well, alien.

Re: Truck Wars!!! Reel BattLes

You talking these kind of "trucks"... IMG_20200821_052946.jpg IMG_20200821_053047.jpg Caught these two Mall Crawling here in Aus. Seriously overdone in all aspects, not useful for us other than d*ck wagging rights. Nearly everyone's truck looks like that here, and some have a LOT more add-ons, like...

Case closed. Fished Mocacny River in Maryland. Caught some dinks, but was surprised how crowded the place was at almost every spot I tried.
You can thank coronavirus for that. Everybody has taken up new outdoor pursuits lately.

Re: Daiwa LP Reel Bearings Knocking?

Hold the handle still and rock the spool back and forth. What you hear is likely the spool pin ticking in the groove of the pinion gear, where it doesn't fit tightly.

Proprietary. Cheaper than a Z Bone
What's proprietary?
That just means the blanks are built to the customer's specifications, including budget of said customer, length, action and power.

Magforce Z is hard to beat in the wind. It had a wider range of control and finer adjustment than most reels.

Are the spacers glued in or do they just get pressed in?
Pressed in. Another member here removed them from a reel, but he said it was a major pain.

I got a package in today and realized its just too much stuff. It will take me the rest of my life to realistically use all this stuff than I say something new in the JDM DSTYLE Truster which came in as well. I went to the boat and its stuffed with lures, My daughter commented " how many lures do y...
