Re: Prescription Sunglasses?
I use Oakley Jawbone with prescription lenses. Lenses are like $300 from my optometrist. Oakley could not make them due to the prescription details. I use both yellow for low light and blue mirror over brown for normal use. I like the Jawbone as I can switch out the lenses if needed...but I have bot...

Yes they are. Color matched too if you can get the rod and reel from the same year.

Re: Best action for a jig rod
The FMJ might fit the bill for you. There are some MB models that are mod-fast or regular that would work.

Re: Best action for a jig rod
It tends to be highly preferencial. I would say that the line type matters too. Straight braid or FC will affect how the rod feels on the hookset. With braid I like a more moderate rod, with FC I prefer a faster action.

Re: A classic rod and a new reel
Thanks guys! I think I am going to make it my small Neko and wacky rig combo. Sometimes this summer I will try to drop shot with it.

A classic rod and a new reel
I was lucky enough to find this rod in decent shape. Although it goes best with my Sol, I found an attractive alternative in the Alphas CT SV 70. Re: “Finesse” Jig rod
First of all, neither of those jigs are finesse. Those are compact jigs, a very different animal, a regular jig with a compact profile. A 7/16oz Eakins jig is a finesse jig, lighter hook and thinner skirt, this is a big difference so you don't need a finesse jig rod. For what you want to do I think...

Re: Tackle box for air travel
Keep your reels in your carry on. Do not put it in checked luggage as it is not secure and can easily be stolen... especially in customs.
For baits, just get a hard case luggage and put the 3700 boxes in there.

Re: Sensitive Moving Bait Rods
I think jerkbaits are the trickiest of the bunch. Finding the perfect tip speed for not over or under working various style and depth baits, yet having a blank that will properly load and flex deep enough (not to deep), to keep fish pinned. I believe sensitivity is a little more important here than...
